Beach volleyball is played at the weekend

This weekend, on 21 and 22 August 2022, it's that time again: the annual charity event Fun4Four is taking place under the motto "Playing for a good cause" . This will be the seventh time that Thuringia's biggest beach volleyball event for a good cause will be held at Strandschleicher Jena. The event combines social projects and the opportunity to get active in sport. That is why the city is happy to support the project.

This year, families, friends and companies from Jena and Jenens are once again invited to come to the beach and get involved in sporting activities.

Recreational volleyball players start in the "Fun Cup", while advanced players can compete in the "Challenge Cup". The game is played in Quattro Beach mode with the condition that at least one woman per team is on the court.

Visitors and participants can expect a varied program around the tournament with:

The event starts at 10:30 am on both days and is scheduled to end at 8:00 pm on Saturday and 6:00 pm on Sunday. Further information can be found on the Sonne im Paradies website.
