Day of the German Sports Badge

The Stadtsportbund Jena e. V. invites you to this year's "German Sports Badge Day" on Saturday, 26.08.2023.

The acceptance of the achievements in the four categories endurance, strength, speed and coordination will take place from 10:00 to 16:00 on the sports field Am Jenzig, Marie-Juchacz-Straße 3 in Jena-Ost.

Registration for participation is required in advance, but can also be done on site on the day of the event. The registration deadline on 26.08. is 15:15.

As in previous years, there will also be the opportunity to complete the swimming requirements and obtain proof of swimming ability on German Sports Badge Day. A swimming lane will be available in the Jena Ostbad from 12:00 to 14:00. Anyone wishing to take part in swimming must register in advance on the sports field.

Of course, it is possible (even recommended) to have your swimming tested in advance of the test day. The swimming instructors at the Jena swimming pools will be happy to help. Corresponding proof must be presented on 26.08.

Please note

For children and young people, proof of swimming ability is valid until the age of 18. Adults need a refresher every 5 years.
